Open sourcing the ProBoard source code
20 years after the last update to ProBoard, I plan to release the full source code of ProBoard as open source on GitHub.

I thoroughly checked if there could be any copyright issues but it seems safe to assume that no company or individual currently owns the rights to the software.

I may also release the 32 bit code that was under development in 1998.

Dennis Murphy: That is amazing! Even more amazing is that it has been 20 years since last release. Incredible how time flies. Canít wait to see what the community can do with it all. Iíll have to dig out my C skills - they are buried in the back of my brain somewhere.

Thank you for this wonderful gift!

Philippe Leybaert: In the next few weeks. I need to make sure everything compiles. I have created a VM that is almost identical to my original development machine and the original 2.16 code is compiling fine. I still need to get the 32 bit version up and running. I had a working version of ProBoard 3.0 but so far I haven't been able to compile it successfully.
